So fill me to the parting glass, good night and joy be to you all…

All good things must come to an end and with great sadness, today is the day we bow out.

Thank Folk For That has been 12 years in the making and over that time, we have made some incredible memories. More than that, we have heard and reviewed some of the greatest songs and albums ever created, by some of the finest bands and artists the world has had the pleasure of knowing.

We have met and interviewed some glorious individuals and collectives, attended gigs and festivals that will last long in the memory, and experienced moments of pure ecstasy and emotion on stage. We have even hosted our own, inviting dozens of sensational artists to play our TFFT Live shows at The Castle in Manchester, for several joyous years.

We have championed new artists, giving them the platform to showcase their artistry and talent. And we have worked with and made friends with some equally amazing and talented individuals – from PR teams, to gig and festival organisers, to the artists themselves.

And of course, a brilliant bunch of sensational writers, who have dedicated so much time and effort to Thank Folk For That, all because of their love for music. I cannot thank the team enough for their brilliant writing, the amount of time they have given up for the site, and their wonderful energy for Thank Folk For That.

Finally, thank you to you, the readers. We could never have done this without you. We will be forever grateful for your incredible support for Thank Folk For That. It’s been a hell of a ride!
