News: BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2014 – Winners And Videos


Last night saw two music award shows hitting London –

The first of which was home to the kings and queens of generic pop music,
where dropping a mic was the most lairy thing to happen
and there were more American performances than British…
which wouldn’t have been weird…unless the awards were called the BRITS

The second was the Radio 2 Folk Awards, hosted at the mighty Royal Albert Hall, over the O2,
and by Mark Radcliffe and Julie Fowlis, rather than the [insert rude word] James Corden

Being a folk music website, it comes as no surprise that the we were more interested in the latter,
but if you didn’t catch it, here’s a list of all the winners, and a few lovely highlights…
