New Release & Video: Lucy Rose – Visual EP

Ahead of a performance at Glastonbury festival, Lucy Rose has today released a 4 track EP available exclusively in video format

Earlier this year, around the release of her critically acclaimed album No Words Left, Lucy Rose and her full band stepped into Cenzo Townsend’s Decoy Studios and recorded live performances of 4 tracks from No Words Left. Each performance was filmed in black and white with audio mixed by Cenzo Townsend (The Maccabees, Florence + The Machine) himself

All 4 performances are available to stream below…

The black and white aesthetic continues Lucy’s quest for no frills with the No Words Left album. She’s done with anything that glitters; instead, these songs are deeply affecting in how raw they are. There’s no makeup and no photo shop touch ups to hide behind, this is Lucy in real life and the stripped back nature of these arrangements heightens the emotion conveyed within her songs

The performance videos offer a glimpse at what fans around the world can expect from Lucy’s upcoming live dates. Having recently returned from a short run of shows across Asia, including a fan requested show in Kuching, Malaysia, Lucy will play The Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury this Friday followed by a handful of festival dates throughout the summer including Deer Shed, Y Not, and Belladrum and will culminate this whirlwind year of hers with a one-off headline show at The Barbican in London on December 4th
