New Release & Video: Dawn Landes – Traveling

Hot off the release of her new single Traveling last week, Dawn Landes has shared an accompanying video for the carefree, wanderlust-fueled track

The clip takes the viewer on a roadtrip from NYC, where Landes was a frequent collaborator with some of the city’s brightest musical minds like Sufjan Stevens and Nico Muhly, to her new home of Nashville, where she has been embraced by country legends like Fred Foster and Bobby Bare…

Nashville serves as the cornerstone of Meet Me At The River, Landes’ new album due September 14th. It was there that Landes first met Fred Foster, the Country Music hall of famer whose list of iconic production credits includes Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Roy Orbison, Kris Kristofferson and more. After being swayed by her heart-wrenching vocals and songwriting prowess, Foster was pulled out of semi-retirement to produce the new record, for which he recruited a top-shelf crew of Nashville’s A-list studio musicians: 13x Academy of Country Music drummer of the year Eddie Bayers, fellow Country Music hall of Famer Charlie McCoy on harmonica, Elvis pianist Bobby Wood, and even 70x chart-topping Bobby Bare for a duet on the Landes-penned original I Don’t Dance

Landes will kick off a headline tour behind the new music later this summer including the UK/IE dates below…
