Jack Savoretti has released his new single Candlelight, taken from his new album Singing To Strangers, out March 15th. The album is the follow up to his two previous records, Written in Scars (2014) and Sleep No More (2016)

Take a listen to Candlelight below…

Candlelight, co-written with Joel Potts (Athlete, Ezra), is an intoxicating rhapsody of strings, choral harmonies, sinuous bass and guitar, with Savoretti’s woody, heartfelt rasp perfectly woven in between. “The studio is in the basement of this huge church and the atmosphere in there was essential when recording ‘Candlelight’” says Jack “that track became the calling card of the album”

Produced by Cam Blackwood (George Ezra) and recorded in Rome at Ennio Morricone’s studio this summer, Singing To Strangers features Jack’s acclaimed live band: guitarists Pedro Vito and Sam Lewis; bassist Sam Davies, drummer Jesper Lind, Davide Rossi (Coldplay, Goldfrapp) on strings and musical director Nikolai Torp on keys

Having recently appeared alongside Kylie Minogue on both Jonathan Ross and Michael Mcintyre performing their track Music’s Too Sad Without You,
Jack will play the following UK dates next Summer:

May 23rd – O2 Academy, Glasgow
25th – The Limelight, Belfast
26th – Olympia Theatre, Dublin
29th – O2 Apollo, Manchester
31st – The SSE Arena, London
Jun 15th – Westonbirt Arboretum, Glos
