New Release: Nora Rothman – Remix EP / Lilies QRTR Remix

Following the release of her debut self-titled EP last Summer, Nora Rothman has been focusing on creating music with a purpose. Fast forward to Inauguration Day 2017 when the former Clinton campaign staffer made a promise to raise the female voice. Gathering an all-womxn team of producers and sound engineers, the result is a remixed version of her debut release. Promptly titled Nora Rothman – Remix EP, the newly announced record will be available April 20th at a pay-what-you-want price, with 50% of proceeds going to Planned Parenthood

Along with the announcement comes lead single, Lilies – QRTR Remix. Give the track a spin below…

Talking about the concept of the EP, Rothman states: “How is it that in 2018, having a 100% womxn team defies industry standards? One of my goals with this EP was to celebrate femme talent. But the other was simply to make good music. Female, trans, and gender nonconforming artists are churning out the best music in the world. I am so grateful to the producers, engineers, label execs, managers and publicists who lent their skills to this project. We’re using this campaign to raise money for Planned Parenthood, because no one fights harder for womxn than they do”

As the daughter of Tom Rothman (Chairman, Sony Pictures Entertainment) and Jessica Harper (Actress), it was inevitable that actress and indie singer/songwriter Nora Rothman would find herself fully immersed in all things music and entertainment. Rothman has dabbled in acting (Hunky Dory, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders) and political work (Colorado field organizer for the Hilary Clinton campaign), but ultimately found relief in music while struggling with an anxiety disorder
