Marika Hackman has unveiled her new single “all night”, taken from her forthcoming album Any Human Friend, out August 9th

Talking about the track, Hackman says: “I thought it would be exciting to write a really overtly sexual song about a woman from the perspective of a woman. You don’t hear much about sex between women in music, or if you do its usually from a fetishised male perspective, I thought I’d reclaim a bit of that power”

Any Human Friend was co-produced by David Wrench and herself. Talking about the record, Hackman states: “This whole record is me diving into myself and peeling back the skin further and further, exposing myself in quite a big way. It can be quite sexual…It’s blunt, but not offensive. It’s mischievous”
