Glaswegian singer-songwriter Lizzie Reid has shared new single ‘Seamless’, a track for which she recalls breaking into tears when she first listened to the demo.
“I listened to the demo on the train from London to Glasgow. I had tears streaming down my face. That was when I realised, I had written something deeply personal to me.”
An emotionally raw songwriter, Reid’s songs are microcosms of love, loss and heartbreak experienced in Glasgow’s streets, nightclubs and bars. She has supported the likes of The Staves and Nilufer Yanya and was scheduled to play this year’s Great Escape.
