Billie Marten has announced details of her new single, Blue Sea, Red Sea

Written on a horrible Winter’s day shortly after a move to London, Blue Sea Red Sea is the second taste of new material that Billie has shared since the release of her debut album Writing Of Blues And Yellows, in September 2016. Recorded on four track tape at producer Ethan John’s house in Bath, the track details Billie’s experience with seasonal affective disorder (SAD)

Listen to the single below…

Of the track Billie says, “I get S.A.D disorder real bad so my head was a bit blue. I decided to sit and write the happiest, simplest pop song I could. I was really missing my family at the time and felt like I needed to fall into a clear blue sea or something. I liked the idea of the Jewish pilgrimage to the Dead Sea, where salt strips your skin clean and everything is new again”

Billie Marten will join Isaac Gracie on tour across the UK throughout November, including a sold-out show at Hackney’s EartH on 26th November…
