New Artist: Ollie Bond

Ollie Bond is a Coventry based singer/songwriter, playing an upbeat blend of acoustic, pop and folk music with a hint of vintage tape – taking his inspiration from artists such as Passenger, Gregory Alan Isakov, Bon Iver & Jason Mraz.

On a musical diet of The Beatles & Buddy Holly, Ollie found his roots in Bedford, UK, picking up the guitar at age 10, before moving to Coventry 3 years ago to study at the University of Warwick.

In 2018, Ollie supported Ronan Keating, The Neville Staple Band, Hazel O’Connor & Tony Christie on the main stage at Godiva Festival, at the time the largest free festival in the UK. Ollie then returned to the festival in 2019 to headline their acoustic stage and play their BBC stage. The same year, Ollie was also privileged to be chosen to play for Coventry’s portion of Found In Music’s International Busking Day.

Previously, Ollie has been lucky enough to reach the finals of national music competition ‘OpenMic UK’ at the London O2. Over the last few years, he’s also been nominated three times for an NMG award including ‘Best Acoustic Act’ and ‘Best Male Artist’.

Ollie recently released his singles, ‘Safe With Me’ and ‘When I Went Away’. He released his 5th single ‘Emilia’ on September 4th 2020. Ollie is currently recording more music to be shared with you throughout the rest of 2020 and into 2021.
