Live: Hiss Golden Messenger Announces US Tour

Hiss Golden Messenger has announced an extensive US coast-to-coast Fall tour. The North Carolina band, led by the songwriting and vocals of M.C. Taylor, will set out on September 24th in Greenville, South Carolina before crisscrossing the US, and parts of Canada

In late 2018, Merge Records released Devotion: Songs About Rivers And Spirits And Children, a limited edition 4-CD / 4-LP boxed set featuring remastered reissues of three early Hiss Golden Messenger albums, Bad Debt (2010), Poor Moon (2012) and Haw (2013), as well as a new rarities compilation Virgo Fool (only available physically with the set)

Last February, M.C. Taylor shared the first new Hiss music of 2019 with the standalone singles “Watching The Wires” and “Everybody Needs Somebody”, featuring Amelia Meath of Sylvan Esso on backing vocals. Stay tuned for another special upcoming announcement
