Off The Record comes to Manchester’s Northern Quarter this Friday and we couldn’t be more excited!
Championing new music, the day-long conference and festival has been curated by some of the biggest names in the business, including Huw Stephens, Guy Garvey, Phil Saxe, Shell Zenner, John Robb, Tim Burgess, Frank Turner, Clint Boon and many more
And before the full lineup is unveiled on Thursday, 24hrs before the festival kicks-off, the OTR team have unveiled a cheeky teaser trailer to get you right in the mood…
Over 30 blossoming acts have been carefully picked by trusted names of the industry, determined by how long the band/act have been together (it must be under 24 months) and without yet releasing a debut album
Each act will be given stage time across six wonderful music venues all within a 5-minute walk from each other in Manchester’s NQ – including our old stomping grounds The Castle and Night & Day Cafe, as well as Gullivers, Aatma, The Ruby Lounge and Soup Kitchen
In addition, Off The Record will also host a highly-anticipated music conference at the Central Methodist Hall, which will see bloggers, label representatives, agents, PR companies, curators, artists, festival organisers and more coming together for key note speeches (including the likes of Everything Everything and Tim Burgess), as well as interactive workshop sessions, covering everything from sync deals to health & well being on the road, and much more
It’s a hugely exciting programme for bands and artists, promoters and bloggers, and of course music lovers from our beloved city and afar!
