Summer really seems to be flying by this year, but there are still a couple of incredible festival weekends to enjoy before the season is out, including the simply majestic Green Man.

Nestled neatly amongst the beautiful Brecon Beacons and the imposing Black Mountains in Wales, Green Man Festival is one of the finest smaller festivals that Blighty has to offer, accommodating for young and old, families, teens, festival veterans and first-timers. Last year they celebrated their 10th Anniversary, playing hosts to First Aid Kit, Beirut, War On Drugs and Neutral Milk Hotel, to name but a few, and will certainly be a tough act to follow!

But luckily, the Green Man organisers know how to put together a belter, so it comes as no surprise that they have once again invited some incredible and diverse acts to entertain the masses
amongst the glorious surroundings

Our recommendations for this weekend’s event are…

Leftfield – Far Out Stage – Thursday
Villagers – Mountain Stage – Friday
Sam Brookes – Chai Wallahs – Friday
Rozi Plain – Walled Garden – Friday

The Staves – Mountain Stage – Sunday
Alex Burey – Far Out – Sunday
Courtney Barnett – Far Out – Sunday
The Moulettes – Chai Wallahs – Sunday
Father John Misty – Mountain Stage – Sunday
St Vincent – Mountain Stage – Sunday

This, of course, is just a small handful of great acts from a mountain of talent, and we’re sure that no matter who you see, it’ll be a wonderful experience

And what’s more, there is an absolute ton of other activities to enjoy! Whether you fancy watching the moving and extraordinary Amy in the Cinedrome, taking the kids (young and old!) to cook up an experiment in Einstein’s Garden, or having a laugh with some world-class comedy acts,
Green Man has it on offer

You could even grab a dip in one of the festival hot tubs, take some time out to chill in the ambient grounds of the Nature Nurture glade, or grab some food from one of the hundreds of yummy stalls (including veggie specials from The ParsnipShip, delicious pizza from Made Of Dough or even Welshman’s caviar from The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company) whilst supping on a pint from one of the eight bars available on site!

Most importantly, have an incredible weekend in your own special way…see you in the valley!
