New Release & Video: Tune-Yards – ABC 123

Tune-Yards have released a new song, ABC 123, from the forthcoming album, I can feel you creep into my private life – due for release on January 19th

Bandleader Merrill Garbus’ politically-infused lyrics set a foreboding scene, as she laments, “California’s burning down / Sitting in the middle of a sixth distinction”

I can feel you creep into my private life is due for release on 19 January 2018. Featuring the singles ABC 123 and Look at Your Hands, the Oakland act’s fourth studio album sees Tune-Yards operating as a duo, with Garbus joined by long-time collaborator Nate Brenner. Together the pair wrote and produced the album, with Garbus’ lyrics exploring her place in the world, and ruminating on race, politics, intersectional feminism and environmental prophecies

Starting in March next year, bandleader Merrill Garbus will be joined by Nate Brenner and Hamir Atwal on twelve dates across the UK and Europe
