New Release: To Kill A King

We’re please to hear and announce, that To Kill A King will be releasing their debut album Cannibals With Cutlery, produced by Jim Abbiss (Adele, Bombay Bicycle Club), Charlie Hugall (Florence & The Machine, The Maccabees) and Andy Green (Keane, Paolo Nutini), on 24th February, 2013

Cannibals With Cutlery features 13 new tracks, varying in tempo from tender acoustic ballads to epics with orchestral strings, brass and five-part harmonies. At the fore are the intelligent, literary lyrics written by frontman Ralph Pelleymounter and sung in his distinctive, honeyed baritone

Morever, new single Cold Skin will also be released on 24th February

However, if you can’t wait that long, To Kill A King have also just released Ralph’s Balcony – The Collection, a series of collaborations from the likes of Bastille, Emily Wood, The Title Sequence, Youth Imperial, Professor Penguin, and We Were Evergreen – all recorded on Ralph Pelleymounter’s 15th floor Shoreditch balcony

The recordings are on sale now on a name-your-price basis, and any profits made will go to London’s Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital – a wonderful charity dedicated to children’s healthcare, and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses
