New Release: Erin Rae – Wild Blue Wind

Nashville’s new country-queen Erin Rae has unveiled her debut UK single Wild Blue Wind, officially released 23 June

Shimmering analogue synths are balanced with siren like slide guitar – all washed over with Erin’s hazy honey-eyed vocal tone that has drawn comparisons as diverse as Feist and Aimee Mann

Erin shares that the song’s lyrics discuss her views on mental health, stating “This one was inspired by various experiences of people I care about, and all of our struggles to regulate our mental and emotional health. The song references several different people and conversations, each of them reminding me of my own internal process. We all have mental health that needs managing, and we are all on a spectrum. Anxiety, depression, addiction, codependency; we all experience it in some form, directly or indirectly”

The track follows her stunning track Like The First Time, which dropped earlier this month…

Erin also tours the UK in June with her band The Meanwhiles, visiting…
